Zonta Wellington supports many local organisations through fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy.

International Projects

During the 2020-2022 biennium, we're supporting the following international service projects:

• Adolescent Girls Health and Protection in Peru

• Strengthening Response to Gender Based Violence Survivors in Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste

• Let Us Learn Madagascar

• Ending Child Marriage

District 16 Projects

Each biennium District 16 (Zonta New Zealand) selects a District Project – one which has relevance for all members nationally and which aligns with Zonta International’s vision of empowering women and girls.

Zonta District 16 is proud to support Foster Hope for the 2024 – 2026 biennium, with the provision of two comprehensive educational resource reference books for pre-teen or teenage years girls supplied within their backpacks. 

Zonta says no to violence against women

Every year #ZontaSaysNo clubs across Aotearoa participate in the 16 days of activism campaign to eliminate violence against women and girls.
